Before joining RevLaw LLC, Yik Wee was a partner in the Disputes and Litigation practice of WongPartnership LLP.
Yik Wee’s main practice areas are civil and commercial disputes, construction and project disputes, employment, and information technology.
He is an experienced litigator and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Singapore on numerous contentious civil matters. He has also represented clients before various statutory and administrative tribunals. In the area of arbitration, Yik Wee has advised both local and foreign clients in international arbitrations conducted under the Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
Yik Wee graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997 and is admitted to the Singapore Bar and to the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales.
Yik Wee is an Associate Mediator and Coach of the Singapore Mediation Centre, and is active in mediation and alternative dispute resolution. He has participated in numerous legal outreach programmes such as legal clinics, IP consultation sessions (organised by The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore) and a column in the Chinese Newspapers. Since 2004, he is a tutor at the Preparatory Course leading to Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations run by the Singapore Institute of Legal Education.
Yik Wee was named as a "Leading lawyer" in Asialaw Leading Lawyers 2018/23rd edition in the area of Dispute Resolution & Litigation and as a “Distinguished Practitioner” (for Dispute Resolution) in the current edition.
