Yik Wee’s main practice areas are civil and commercial disputes, construction and project disputes, employment, and information technology. He is an experienced litigator and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Singapore on numerous contentious civil matters. He has also represented clients before various statutory and administrative tribunals. In the area of arbitration, Yik Wee has advised both local and foreign clients in arbitrations conducted under the Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). 

Active in mediation and alternative dispute resolution, Yik Wee is a Principal Mediator and Coach of the Singapore Mediation Centre, as well as a Senior Mediator of the Law Society’s Mediation Scheme. He is also a IMI certified Mediation Advocate.

He has participated in numerous legal outreach programmes such as legal clinics, IP consultation sessions (organised by The Intellectual Property of Singapore) and a column in the Chinese Newspapers.
